On Tuesday the 16th of November in the lower level of ASTROLAVOS dexameni Art Gallery opens a painting exhibition by the artist Giolanta Zaharaki.

The artist is inspired from Nature and with mixed techniques, with an endless confrontation of smaller or bigger self-existent shapes, that coexist in an unbroken connection, which creates her effective paint-brush, she manages to give strong structures that refer to "The Game of Life".
She often uses disparate materials that show her authentic and free expression. The use of original natural materials, such as leafs, helps her to incorporate gesticulation and to collate the physical and artificial.
She uses warm colors that move effortless once in cold and once in hot shades following always strictly the rules.

It is a crate work with original solutions, bent shapes, blinding color whirl, spots and blots completely assimilated to the work, using a range of material in papier colle that refers to later Matisse.
Nothing protests. Everything is placed between and coexists restfully in Zaharakis crates with the made of paper or wooden, transparent or not trees and insects.
