On Thursday the 23rd of March are going to take
place the openings of two exhibitions by the professor of the
School of Fine Arts Triadafillo Patraskidi.
'ASTROLAVOS dexameni' will exhibit his works of oil on canvas
as well as constructions, while a video of the artist will be
projected. 'ASTROLAVOS artlife' will exhibit several of his
works, mainly on paper.
The whole new work of Patraskidis is related to the space of
the human myth as he conceives it, and by which he is inspired.
The artist himself writes about this space:
'The human presence in time
and space of memory.
A symbolic, devotional
reference of his stigma.
A journey in the hidden corners of the mind,
in primordial spaces
with their own light, memory and dimensions.
Breaks of silence and conflict
with the charm of the unforeseen,
sensations that emerge
through the color, the writings,
the material resistance.
Alternating images
project moments of the human coexistence
through conflicts
and emotions.'
