In the Art Space of 'Astrolavos Dexameni' (Xanthippou 11, Kolonaki, tel: 210 7294342, 3, fax: 210 7293317, opening hours: Tu-Fr 10.30 - 14.00 & 18.00 - 21.00, Sat 10.30 - 15.00) from Friday 5th of December until Saturday 10th of January 2009, will be exhibited, in the line of the group exhibition entitled: ''Xmas Highlights '08'', painting works and manufactures by renowned Contemporary Greek Artists.

It is a tradition for collectors and art lovers to be visiting during Christmas art exhibitions, with the disposition to invest in the art market or simply make some last minute buys for decorating purposes during the festive season.
It is a group exhibition, which the friends of the gallery and collectors eagerly await each year knowing that they can find very unique, collectable artworks. In this exhibition, the visitors can, in a short timeframe, enjoy a mini Panorama of Contemporary creation by Greek and foreign artists and view fresh works chosen carefully according to rigorous qualitative selection. For this year the gallery's proposal range from very known and successful artists to young, talented and dynamically driven contemporary artists.

Some of the more distinguished works of the exhibition are: Dead Nature with Vase, by the new works of Dimitris Mytaras, A SemiUrban Landscape by Thomas Ochoa (artist who has represented Latin America in the 2003 Venice Biennale), the Erotic with Woman and Dove by Faidon Patrikalakis, the Runner by Triantafyllos Patraskidis (dean of the Athens School of Fine Art) two special works -a Synthesis (work painted in metal and etalbon) and a Female Nude - by the new work entitled: 'Sirens', of Giorgos Lazogas; two works, the Green Bouquet and the Blue Tent, by the most recent work of Manolis Charos, entitled: '4 Fugas'. Also, a unique work by Giannis Lasithiotakis, entitled: Sea - Scape Scenery, few new works from units Women and Arks by painter Eleni Pavlopoulou, colorful Scenery - Synthesis by Ariadni Vitastali, new works by Eva Mitala from the unit China Series, as well as fresh works by Evridiki Kallimachou. The exhibition is framed by many more works characterized by artistic innovation and originality, by artists such as: G. Golfinos, F. Damianaki, M. Zacharof, F. Kalle, M. Maroudi, S. Ntoutsouli, E. Panonidou, D. Panourgia, E. Papadimitriou, K.Ristic.
