Astrolavos Art Galleries are taking part in this year's Art Athina, in Booth C39 of Basic Plan, with a group exhibition of paintings, sculptures and installations, pinpointing the policy and the style of the gallery through works of younger but also renowned cooperating artists.

Although the works presented vary in style, expressiveness and morphology they retain a fruitful dialogue with contemporary art.

The works exhibited in Astrolavos Booth (no39) are the following: a painting work by Dimitris Mytaras , by his new unit of work 'Boats'.A wall-mounted work of Costas Tsoclis , on which the artist is inspired by (and works with) colour red. A sculpture manufacture out of iron and wood by Triantafillos Patraskidis , entitled: 'Counterpoints', on which the artist depicts Hunting Scenes. Eleni Pavlopoulou exhibits works of mixed medium from her most resent body of work: 'Emigrantes del Amor'. Painting works of Nikos Lagos , created with the artists known technique, combining abstract expressionism and graffiti. A work of monumental dimensions by Giannis Lasithiotakis , on which a girl Angel is depicted with thin-layered tone accelerations. A work most renowned for its sensitivity and unique construction is exhibited by Nikos Alexiou . Two 3-dimensional manufactures made out of mirror, plexy glass and painted motives by Dimitra Panourgia . A 3-part work of abstract technique by Evridiki Kallimachou . The 3-dimensional manufactures made out of wire and charcoal of Eri Sourouni . A neo-pop painted work, with realistic and surrealistic accounts in contemporary Geishas and in the 21 st century of Evi Mitala . Two painting figurative portraits, renaissance and a contemporary one by Stamatina Ntoutsouli . Concluding, an installation by inox aluminium with an engraved motif of a young girl from the Far East made by Elena Papadimitriou .
