Does it ever cross your mind that your fridge might be
exploded? Have you ever looked your cloth drier with anxiety?
Do you suspect that something makes modern houses so different,
so explosive? Konstantinos Bobos, following his "Games
of memory", presents at the lower level of ASTROLAVOS
dexameni Art Gallery the "Aberrations of low tones"
and attempts to make a transition to a more threatening
world.
Large and smaller painting creations, that narrate, in an
elliptic language, stories of aberrations (in space or in
situations) that take place within the "safety"
of the home.
Surrounding this contradiction a threat is organized, either
as a whisper, or more eloquently, while the inhabitants
of his works do not act to avoid it. The palette is now
more intense but retains its refined tones, the image is
produced by rather large, clear and distinguishable volumes,
while the arrangement of the figures serves a bitter humor
and an enigmatic layout element of the narration, since
the painter lefts narration to reveal an environment which
is (was?) not controlled.
Opening of exhibition: Tuesday 29 March.
Duration: until 16 April.
