On Wednesday the 1st of December at 8.00 a.m. starts at the cultural center of the Municipality of Athens "Melina" (Herakleidon 66 & Thessaloniki, Thisio) an exhibition of manufactures by Marina Maravelaki with the title: "Travelling" with the cooperation of the Art Galleries "ASTROLAVOS".

It is about artistic sculptural works of mixed technique (with combination of engraving, painting, silk screen typing at plexi glass, PVC, old doors, e.t.c) given through a personal view.
The exhibition is a journey at monuments, buildings and spaces and focus on the desire of the artist to share the beauty and the mystery that surrounds them. The use of the respective and the photographic depiction of the monuments, the organic forms and the vacant spaces show in their own way the crude energy of the buildings and the memory of every city.

The spectator is encouraged to get in the field of the monument in order to feel the atmosphere, the history and the philosophy of the people who live, lived, used and continue to use it as a holly means of residence, working place, meditation place, education or physical exercises place.
Maravelaki continues a successful route with the use of some extremely skilful and pioneer techniques manages to give some works remarkable and very interesting.

The exhibition lasts until the 26th of December.
