For the last 20 years he exposes himself in a daily basis through his writing at the last page of the newspaper "Eleftherotipia". On Thursday the 20th of May, after 20:00, at the up and the middle level of "ASTROLAVOS dexameni", and until the 12th of June, his exhibition "KAIROS" will open with 31+1 captions on photographs, which were "crafted" by the artist himself.

The exhibition which is titled "Time for dreaming", includes 31 colored and one black-and-white picture by Giorgos Papadopoulos -Tetradis, each one followed by a handwritten comment which defines it.
The themes are landscapes and people at the shades of dawn, of internal space, of the setting sun, at the hues of the shimmering, by the twilight, waters.

"KAIROS" has been capturing for many years now, several spots of Greece, from where is inspired almost the total number of the projects, as well as from all the other places that the artist has traveled to throughout the years. Thus, from the exhibition, shots taken at the Afghanistan-Pakistan borders as well as work from Paris and Madrid, won' t be missing.
This first photography exhibition of "KAIROS" includes pieces which are characterized by the power and peace of their atmosphere in such an intensity that, years ago, they would have been both the cause and "food" for painting.

Giorgos Papadopoulos-Tetradis was born in Patra, while his parents were randomly passing by, in the New Year's Day of 1951. He never took any degree from the journalism, the music or the photography studies and he never graduated from the Political Science or the Law School with which he occasionally wished to occupy his time.

He is the managing editor on subjects of political interest in the newspaper "Eleftherotipia", where he was lead 22 years ago, after an eight-year wandering-incumbency time in Ethnos, Akropoli, Imerisia, Express and Ethniko Kirika.
He created the column "O KAIROS in Eleftherotipia", in order to fill in a technical gap of the page. As it turned out, he finally filled an inward vacancy of his.
