On Tuesday the 25th of May opens at "ASTROLAVOS artlife" art gallery an engraving exhibition by the artist Giannis Gaitis.
The well known human forms of Gaitis with their typical hats, their stripped or plaid suits, their monochrome neckties and the austere range of contrary colors come through his engravings to express his functionalistic world with the intensive social criticism and the bitter taste of life through the lack of individuality.

Most of these engravings are peculiar, as silk screen printing mixes with intensive pressing of the paper and forms are created in a different level. The outcome of this mixed technique is very interesting both in aesthetic and in clearly technical level.

The exhibition lasts until the 22nd of June 2004.
