On Friday the 23rd of April opens at 'ASTROLAVOS artlife' an exhibition of handmade silk screens by the artist Chrysa.

Through the use of a subtractive procedure which aims in showing the pictorial quality of script, engraves geometrical forms in a severe pictorial repetition. Using a systematic multiple repetition of a fragmentary motif she succeeds in giving a cryptic structure, a composition with a particular graphical aesthetics that magnetizes the spectator.

In other silk screens she imitates some ideograms produced by neon and she uses strong colors of neon to create severe and at the same time luminous structures. The quality of her silk screens shows works of high engraving and gives an incomparable attribution of her artistic spirit.
