A year after the death of this important representative of the generation of the thirties, ASTROLAVOS, who has been closely collaborating with the artist, is presenting 14 of his characteristic works, in which his perfect artistic writing becomes obvious.

Being a modest, tender character and a gifted artist, Manousakis has depicted simple objects with a detailed realistic manner in which everyday life is reflected. Through an austere three dimensional pattern of painting he managed to depict the "Lacrimae rerum", and at the same time through the use of bright tones gave a sensual and a sweet atmosphere in his landscapes.

He worked with aquarelle and egg tempera with a very distinctive expertise but also his few attainments with oil had excellent results. Although he hadn't painted many paintings and usually presented small scale works, Manousakis managed to leave his stigma in Greek painting through a very comprehensive work full in sentimental charge that only important artists manage to cultivate.
