On Friday the 30th of January opens at ASTROLAVOS-artlife an exhibition of lighting constructions by the artist Panagiotis Dradakis.

The canvases used at Dradaki's artistic constructions are not painted but constitute an artistic proposal which is used as a basis for other inspired materials; the final result composes an artwork-object of high aesthetics. The square canvas, which is the dominating shape, constitutes the feedstock of the artist's work that is then connected to other materials for the creation of three- dimensional constructions. In combination to the light, the works acquire another dimension between the source of light and the lighted medium.

The artist aims in underlying the 'magic' of light- illumination and by using it as an utilizable medium, gives to it an 'artistic' nature.

In those works light, which is literally and symbolically the basis of the creation of every work is isolated and projected in its geometric absoluteness.
